The art of photography allows me to slow down and visually immerse myself in the world where I'm inspired by light, color, and shadow. The everyday disappears and the image becomes a reflection of my inner thoughts or an affirmation of life's spectacular beauty.
I earned a BFA in photography from the Art Institute of Boston, and I am a member of The American Society of Media Photographers and Professional Photographers of America. Originally from Boulder, CO, I grew up traveling to many fascinating places. That love of nature and spirit of exploration remains with me today. I am a full-time time photographer; you can see my commercial work at Daniel Hirsh Photography.
I’m now based in Northampton, MA. Away from the camera, I can be found walking our rescue dog, cycling, practicing yoga, and traveling. Please contact the studio at 413-800-6658 to inquire about investing in a fine art print.
